I find great benefit in reading your articles: I suffer from sleep apnoea (UK spelling!), greatly aggravated due to being overweight (5ft 1" and 144lbs). It's improved massively as I have lost about 20lbs in the last 10 months, but I still have at least 20lbs more to go. I've read much of what you've written about before, but what I find so engaging and useful about your writings is the practical advice which spreads out into a real wellness practice. Your 4-7-8 breathing exercise is a perfect example of this: all the physiological benefits which you describe, while also making me feel that I'm valuing myself by taking a minute or two to look after myself. I'm writing a bedside note to remind me to do this at bedtime, and upon waking, too.
